U.S drone strike killed four and Al-Qaeda leader


DATA KHEL: At least four person with Al-Qaeda leader Omer Farooq and two injured on Sunday dead in a US drone strike hit a house  in North Waziristan.
The strikes came a day after Pakistani forces killed a major Al-Qaeda commander.Six Pakistani military officials conformed drone strike on Sunday and three said a member of AL-Qaeda was among the dead.


The said he operated in Afghanistan and Pakistan and his name was Omer Farooq.

According to detalis a drone strike has been reported in the area of Khar Tangi,,Tehsil Data Khel in which a center has been targeted by the missiles.The main leader of AL-Qaeda Omer Farooq who was an ally of Ustad Farooq along with his four partner were killed.



Intelligence agencies have conformed the attacked and death of Omer Farooq. Moreover, police have started search operation for the collection of further evidence.

The official said their information came from local source and phone intercept.


Drone strike in Pakistan is stopped from six month of the year while the government held peace talk with the aggressive Taliban.But the talked failed with Taliban and the strikes resumed days before the militants announced a major anti Taliban offensive in the North Waziristan on June 15.


Militants official said that they have killed more than 1000 militants in North Waziristan.

The military ordered most of the civilian population to leave their homes before fight began.so independent reports on the fighting are rare.
