LONDON: Pakistani heritage British professional Boxer Amir Iqbal khan plans to donate a $46973 pair of shorts to help rebuild the Army Public School Peshawar (Pakistan) where 141 people were killed by Taliban attack.
Amir Khan is an English boxer.He is a former two time world champion by winning WBA,WBA(super) and IBF Light Welterweight titles.
Amir was born and raised in England.He was born to Rajput family with roots in Punjab.
Khan is the youngest British Olympic boxing medalist winning silver at the 2004 Athens Olympic at the age of 17.
Amir Khan who is Pakistani heritage,,When he Successfully defended his WBC welterweight title against Devon Alexander last weekend in Las Vegas.:wore the flamboyant shorts including a waistband made from 24 carat gold threading .
Boxer Amir Khan told BBC radio;;I can only imagine the what those parents are going through.
He condemns the Peshawar army public school attack.
He also said:we are very lucky in England,we have good security and I will be able to send my little girl to school and know she will be fine but in Pakistan you cannot do that.
They send the kids outside the house and do not know if they are going to come back.It is very sad to know that.
I am going to donating them towards What happened in Islamic republic Pakistan.I want to rebuild the school and strengthen the security.
