BlackBerry,NantHealth launch cancer browser


On Sunday BlackBerry and NantHealth a health care focused data provider launched a secure cancer Browser giving doctors the ability to access patients genetic data on BlackBerry smartphone.

Earlier this year BlackBerry bought a minority wager in privately held NantHealth.


Mobile Technology company sees health care as one of the niche sectors in which it has an advantage.
The company said that cancer genome browser on the BlackBerry passport enables deep.It gives oncologists tool to view individual genetic interchange in a disease and allowed them to reply treatment options.


Black Berry launched the square screened passport device in the month of September with wider screen that allowed for better viewing of x rays scans and documents.

BlackBerry chief Executive John Chen said he expects this roll out get health care professionals interested in the passport.



Where as Soon-Shiong said the Black Berry and NantHealth will continue on Software and hardware and he said that the two are already working on the  new device that will revolutionize the transport of big data set.
Detalis on this will be outlined early next year.
