Hurdles make us stronger, we are not power hungry: Shah Mehmood |
MULTAN:Vice chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that opponents called us “mummy daddy party”, but we proved our maturity and power through Pakistan’s history’s longest sit-in.
He was addressing the workers convension in Multan.
He said that they are ready to face any hurdle put in the way of a new Pakistan and it will make them only stronger.
“We are not power hungry, neither Imran Khan nor I are after the seat of Prime Minister; we only want to work for the betterment of Pakistan”, he added further.
He also said that the demand of judicial commission is not only their demand; it’s the demand of whole Pakistani nation.
Shah Mahmood criticized previous government of PPP and its leader for corruption.
