Protesting doctors have withdrawn strike call, claims CM Sindh |
He said an approval would also be thought form the provincial cabinet for financial assistance of the slain doctors’ families besides better security arrangements for the fraternity in the future.
A spokesman for the CM said that Shah, while chairing a meeting with leaders of Pakistan Medical Association (PMA), assured that doctors would be given arms licenses upon consultations with the law enforcement agencies.
According to the spokesman, protesting doctors withdraw their strike call who following the assurances.
The doctors said that the strike call has not been withdrawn and they would announce their future course of action after reviewing the government’s action in this statement.
