Status quo may stir up revolution: Ch. Sarwar
LONDON: Former Punjab governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said on Tuesday that he intended to resign from the governorship six months ago but had to postpone his plan due to sit-ins in Islamabad.

To a question, he said that he had not left Sharif brothers in their difficult times, adding that a revolution might come if democracy didn’t rid itself of status quo.

He also said that he planned to join a political party that would form a shadow cabinet.
