Policy demanded of New Textile

FAISALABAD: Textile exporters have demanded the approval of new textile policy of the exporters problem.

Expressing concern over the delay in the approval of textile policy on Friday.

Sohail Pasha is the chairman and the Rizwan Riaz is the vice chairman of  Pakistan textile Exporters Association (PTEA) demanded that new five year textile policy should include financial and industrial facilities remove hurdles and the ensure incentives to enhance the textile exports  to USD 26 billion by 2019.


They said that textile policy should be progressive and realistic as GSP plus trade incentives to opened a big window of opportunity for Pakistan to not only push up its textile exports to the world.


But also produce a trade surplus to help the Government overcome its trade deficit.

PTEA leaders demanded that Government should concentrate upon the some truly steps and address genuine concerns of the industry with innovation solution in the upcoming textile policy.


Vice chairman of the Pakistan textile Exporters Association(PTEA)  Rizwan Riaz urged the government to resolve the crisis as challenges like energy crisis ,high rate,crunch,and financial stress is holding this point of national economy back from growing up to full potential and hard working.
